Featuring a raucous soundtrack, rear-wheel drive, sharp steering, excellent traction, and two seating options, the Nissan 350 & 370Z is a fantastic sports car. Although the 350Z is now almost 20 years old and speed/power has changed significantly since the 350Z was first introduced in the early 2000s, there is no denying that it is still a fast car. The 350Z was made to be a driver’s car, now popular with drifters. With a larger engine, more torque, a faster sprint to 60 mph (5.1 seconds), better braking, and a quarter-mile time of 15 seconds, the 350Z gained a lot of attention.

The 370Z saw some upgrades to the design and engine from the 350Z. Also added were some nice features such as manual transmission’s SynchroRev Matching and a navigation system with onboard music storage and traffic information.

Both the 350Z and 370Z are now extremely popular with tuners, seeing improvements made to their handling and engine performance. A 8.9″ Twin Plate Mantic Track system has the same effective surface area as an 18 single plate clutch. So increasing clamp load is no longer a priority as the significantly larger surface area creates a massive torque capacity increase.
